Computerised Concept
When a guest checks in, your hotel's PMS opens, through an interface, the electronic lock of the automatic Bartech Refreshment Centre. Every product in the Bartech Refreshment Centre is controlled by a sensor. A guest may inspect a product without incurring charges but if they consume the product, the Bartech automatic system immediately charges it top their bill. The same information is also sent to a PC to generate refill report and inroom stock information. When the guest checks out, the PMS locked the Bartech Refreshment Centre.

The Central Processing Unit (C. P. U.) is the brain of the Bartech system. It receives inroom Refreshment Centre status, 24 hours a day. Data may be transferred between Refreshment Centres and the CPU, even without inroom hard wiring. Interfacing with the PMS allows you to remotely open or lock when your guest checks in or out. Charges are posted on guests' folios in real time.
Management software
 The application software is designed to manage and control the complete Refreshment Centre service; allowing the following advanced features: automatic refill report, list of rooms in credit/no credit, detailed invoices, listing of anomalies, incidents or damages, price or inventory management, daily and monthly cash flow reporting, automatic defrost control, stock analyses, etc.
Room status module for housekeeping services
The module allows the floor supervisor or housekeeping (based on your operational control) to send in real time all the information concerning the room. With the use of a special Remote Control (personalized and coded), the supervisor can send directly to the Front Office System (PMS) the status of the room - cleaned, inspected, vacant etc. This will place the room back into the hotel inventory in real time.
If the hotel has selected a Refreshment Centre with an empty space for guest use, one problem that sometimes occur is when the guest checks out and has forgotten goods stored in their Refreshment Centre - the Room Status Module avoids the need for Refreshment Centre staff having to visit each and every room. This is achieved by allowing the floor supervisor to check inside the Refreshment Centre using the Remote Control.
Room maintenance module for technical services departments
This module allows the user to send various codes that determine technical information for a room via the Refreshment Centre. The module allows up to 99 configurable codes for error reporting messages.

The module works by interfacing to the PMS or the Bartech CPU for action on the Engineering supports systems.
Optimize savings with CESS (Computerized Energy Saving System)
This software module allows hotel operations to SAVE COST via the Computerised Control and Management of the cold production in each Refreshment Centre in each room. The control is based according to the time of the night and/or day, check in, check out, closed floor, room maintenance, seasons, ice production or not, selection of product.
The module allows hoteliers to benefit from the preferential kilowatt - hour night tariffs, avoiding peak rates of consumption, whilst keeping high quality service to the hotel's guests.
Property management software interfaces
Bartech has developed a standard interface protocol that can be modified to fit the requirements of almost all PMS systems on the market, enabling lock/unlock control from the front desk, direct guest folio charging, room by room Refreshment Centre status at the front desk etc.
